Byline is run by one person, Alex Ray. There is one way to reach him and it works for everything: email.
Write to hello@withbyline.com. Use it for support, billing questions, security reports, data requests, press, and partnership enquiries. Put the topic in the subject line so it is easy to sort.
What to include
- Support: your Byline handle and what you expected to happen.
- Billing: the email address on your GitHub account. Never send card numbers by email.
- Security: steps to reproduce. Please report privately before publishing.
- Data requests: say whether you want access, export, correction, or deletion. Most of these you can do yourself from the dashboard.
Response time
Expect a reply within two business days. Security reports get a first response within one business day.
No other channels
Byline has no phone line, no chat widget, and no social media accounts yet. If a message claims to come from Byline through any other channel, treat it with suspicion and email us to check.
